TGAA cake

Practice cake
I made this cake for the TGAA my dad plays in their tournaments every year and they asked me to make a cake for their championship day. This cake was hard work took a few hours and lots of brain power (thanks to my mom, dad, and sisters). The practice cake looked a lot different but I always get in the zone and change ideas the final was nice!!. The bunker is made out of graham crackers and sugar. The hole and trees are made of fondant. the little bridge is made of pretzel sticks. The rest is buttercream icing (aside from the plastic golfer). I'm glad they enjoyed it I definitely love how the cake turned out.
Final cake!

19th Anniversary cake

I am proud to say I had the chance to make my parents first wedding/anniversary cake. When they got married they didn't have a wedding cake and ever since I was about 11 or 12 I had the dream of either making their first one or paying to get them one. I'm glad I was able to make it and that they loved it! After 19 years they finally got one...now they can tell their friends I made it. I hand painted the sign on the side of the cake it was actually easier than I thought it would be. The fondant is homemade a recipe I learned in my cake decorating class. The flowers are made out of gum paste and fondant (both are edible).

A "Welcome home" cake I made for an old friend.

A practice cake for a little boys birthday. I never had a chance to make the cake they decided not to have it done but I'm sure it would have been fun to make.

This is one of the cakes I made in my cake decorating class. The basket weaving part was tricky but definitely was worth it in the end.

I made these cupcakes with my sister. I was helping teach her how to use the piping bag I think they came out nice.
